Excellent Blue Ray player, connects to my Panasonic TV via my Denon AV receiver. Also I can play audio CD's using my Denon AV receiver, don't need a seperate CD player which is a bonus. As usual the delivery service was very good.
I should have waited: Rating: 3/5
Strange, just after I purchased this blu ray player the price came down drasticly. Very unfortune. As for the perfomance, it does upgrade the dvd to a very good level but starting time is slow. For the money I paid I would expected more.
DvD / Blueray for the masses.: Rating: 5/5
The Price belay's the quality of the product, it was easy to connect, looks good and the quality playback of non blueray discs is impressive. I recommend this machine for it's price range, however it is sometimes, ( depending on the layout of the disc ),
difficult to revert to the main menu. There is a button for this action but sometimes there is no action to be had.
Otherwise a good product. |
Panasonic BD80EB Blu-ray player: Rating: 5/5
The image quality on the player is excellent as is the sound when hooked into a 5.1 surround system. Set up was relatively straight forward, but not helped by the operating instructions which were not in the most logical order to set up the system. I have simple requirements for this unit and will not use the BD-live function very much. However, it was no problem getting onto the Internet downloading the latest software for the player and checking out the latest info on a DVD. I use a Ethernet to Wireless switch to avoid running cables to the router.
